(x \ +  \frac{1}{x} ) ^{2}   - (x -  \frac{1}{x} ) ^{2}

Answer:

(x+1/x)^2-(x-1/x)^2

=4 × x × 1/x [(a+b)^2-(a-b)^2=4ab]

=4
