Solution :

Given A.P :

27,23,19,.... ,-6

first term ( a ) = 27

common difference ( d ) = a2 - a1

= 23 - 27

d = -4

Now ,

Rearranging the A.P in reverse order,

we get

-6 , -2 , 2 , 6 , ....,23, 27

First term ( a ) = -6

common difference ( d ) = -2 - ( -6 )

= -2 + 6

= 4

n = 11

nth term of an A.P ( an ) = a + (n-1)d

a11 = -6 + ( 11 - 1 )4

= -6 + 10 × 4

= -6 + 40

= 36

Therefore ,

11 th term from last term = 36
