12÷\frac{3}{4}

=> 12×\frac{4}{3} (reciprocal of the digits because we changed the sign from divide to multiply)

=> 4×4

=> 16

12   \div \frac{3}{4}  \\  \\

when we resiprol it the divide sign will change and become {×}
