Step-by-step explanation:

To find 12 rational numbers between 5/3 & 7/6 , we have to make the denominator equal.

LCM of 3 and 6=6

5/3 with 6 denominator= 5/3×2/2=10/6

7/6 will be as it is

now to find 12 rational numbers , we have to multiply both the numbers by another number which will make 12 numbers between the following numbers .

(I am multiplying it by 5. Their are more options.)

10/6×5/5=50/30

7/6×5/5=35/30

Therefore , 12 rational numbers are

36/30 to 49/30

Step-by-step explanation:

>>To find rational number ,we had to add 1 to the required number , i.e. ,(n+1)

>>(If denominator are different ) , Take out LCM , "x" , of denominators , "y" , of both the number and multiply both the numbers by y/x/y/x. To make , both denominators are "x".

>>Then , we had to multiply both numerator and denominator of both the number with (n+1) /(n+1).

>>This way we can take out number between two rational numbers.

Carrying out the steps mentioned above :

n+1=12+1

=13

LCM (x) of 3 and 6 is 6

5/3: 5/3x2/2 : 10/6

7/6 will remain as it is as denominator is already 6 .

Now , 10/6x13/13 = 130/78

7/3x13/13 = 81/78

So ,Numbers between 130/78 and 81/78 are :

82/78—129/78
