The 12 rational numbers between -1 and 2 are   \bold{-\frac{19}{20},-\frac{18}{20},-\frac{17}{20},-\frac{16}{20},-\frac{15}{20},-\frac{14}{20},-\frac{13}{20},-\frac{12}{20},-\frac{11}{20},-\frac{10}{20},-\frac{9}{20},-\frac{8}{20}}

Solution:

Let the number be written as -\frac{1}{1} \text { and } \frac{2}{1}

To find: 12 rational numbers between -1 and 2,

Rational number can be found by various method but we are going to use the denominator rationalization method.

Multiply 20 on both numerator and denominator of -1 and 2 to get value as \frac{20}{20} \text { and } \frac{40}{20}.

Now the values between -20 and 40 are infinite but we can take only the whole number.

So the rational numbers are -\frac{19}{20},-\frac{18}{20},-\frac{17}{20},-\frac{16}{20},-\frac{15}{20},-\frac{14}{20},-\frac{13}{20},-\frac{12}{20},-\frac{12}{20},-\frac{10}{20},-\frac{10}{20},-\frac{9}{20},-\frac{8}{20}.
