Hi...☺

Here is your answer...✌

 - 1 = \frac{ - 10}{10} \: and \: 2 = \frac{20}{10} \\ \\ 12 \: rational \: numbers\: between \: -1 \:and \:2 \:are \: \\ \\ \frac{ - 9}{10} ,\frac{ - 8}{10} ,\frac{ - 7}{10}, \frac{ - 6}{10} ,\frac{ - 5}{10}, \frac{ - 4}{10}, \frac{ - 3}{10} \\ \\ \frac{ - 2}{10} ,\frac{ - 1}{10}, 0,\frac{ 1}{10}, \frac{ 2}{10}

Thank you ⭐

mysticd: He needs 12 terms between -1 and 2
mysticd: From -9/10 to 1/10 totally 11 terms
sushant2505: Sir 2/10 is also there
sushant2505: please check
sushant2505: 2/10 ≠ 20/10
mysticd: Right ,
sushant2505: 3/10 , 4/10 , 5/10 .... 19/20 these are also in between -1 and 2
sushant2505: Thank you :)
mysticd: Sry
sushant2505: its okay ☺

Hi friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

To find,

12 rational numbers between -1 & 2.

Solution,

Let us multiply and divide (-1 & 2)  by 12.

Then,

Actually, there are infinite number of rational numbers between two integers..

-1 = -1 \times  \frac{12}{12} =  \frac{-12}{12}

2 =  2\times \frac{12}{12} =  \frac{24}{12}

Therefore 12 rational numbers between them are:

 \frac{-11}{12};  \frac{-10}{12};  \frac{-9}{12};  \frac{-8}{12};  \frac{-7}{12} ; \frac{-6}{12};  \frac{-5}{12};  \frac{-4}{12} ; \frac{-3}{12} ; \frac{-2}{12}  ;\frac{-1}{12} ; \frac{0}{12} ; \frac{1}{12}
