Heya !!!

This is YOur Answer...

Given :-

15 m and 85 cm + 28 m 50 cm....
Let us convert them into similar unit.

So, I'll convert it into meter.
{1 cm = 1/100 m}

Then,
15 m and 85 cm = 15 m + 85/100 m = 15.85 m
28 m and 50 cm = 28 m + 50/100 m = 28.50 m

Now, adding
15.85 + 28.50 = 44.35 m
We can convert this into m and cm again..

44 m + 35/100 m = 44 m and 35 cm.

Hope It Helps

Heya,

As we know that the question is to add Meter and centimetre, So for easy calculation we will convert Meter into centimetre,

As we know that,
1m = 100cm
therefore,
15m = 1500cm
28m = 2800cm

So, for addition we will first add the remaining centimetre and then add the sum,

(1500cm + 85cm) + (2800cm + 50cm)
=> 1585 + 2850
=> 4435 cm

Now, we can convert cm into m so, for that we must divide centimetre by 100, therefore sum will be,
4435/100 = 44.35m

We can also write 44.35m as 44m 35cm.

Hope this helps you....:)
