Step-by-step explanation:

Question :

➝  \: find \: two \: rational \: number \: between \:  \frac{2}{5} and \frac{3}{4}

Explanation :

let the two rational number are ➝ x and y

x  =  >  \frac{1}{2} ( \frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{3}{4}) \\   \:  \:  \:  \: =  >  \frac{1}{2} ( \frac{8 + 15}{20} ) \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{25}{20} \\  =  >  \frac{25}{40}

AND ,

y \:  =  >  \:  \frac{1}{2} ( \frac{25}{40} +  \frac{3}{4}) \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2} ( \frac{25 + 30}{40}) \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2}   \times  \frac{55}{40}  \\  =  >  \frac{55}{40}

hence,

Two rational number between 2/5 & 3/4 are =>

25/40 nd 55/40

Additional information :-

We can find infinite rational number between any to rational number.

we can do it as =>

let's suppose we have to find rational number between x and y .

so, we can do it as ➝

1/2 (x+y)

then we found a number , then again ,

let suppose we find a rational number A in this,

so next,

we will multiply A and y sum by 1/2 and so on ,

we can find infinite rational number.
