Find 2 numbers such that one of them exceed the other by 13 and the sum is 77

32 and 45

A= B+13

therefore

B+13+B = 77

2B = 77-13

  3. x+x+13=77
  4. 2x +13=77
  5. 2x=77-13
  6. 2x=64
  7. x=64/2
  8. x=32

  • so , if one no. is 32 than another no. is exceed by 13 so , another no. 45.
