Formula to find rational numbers between 2 numbers :-
1/2(x + y)

1/2(3/4 + 1)
3/8 + 1/2
3+4/8
= 7/8

3/4 < 7/8 < 1 

1/2(3/4 + 7/8)
3/8 + 7/16
3 x 2 + 7 x 1/16
6+7/16
= 13/16

3/4 < 13/16 < 7/8 < 1
