see you can write 0.1 as 1/10 and 0.3 as 3/10

we know q1 = (a/b +c/d)/2 =(1/10 +3/10)/2

=(4/10)/2

=( 0.4)/2

= 0.2
we can write it other way around 2/10

q2 = (q1+c/d)/2

= (2/10 +3/10)/2

= (5/10)/2

= (1/2)/2

=( 0.5)/2

= 0.25

[ = 25/100

= 1/4]
