Answer:

(a)2x + y = 7......(1)

On putting x=0 in equation 1

2x+y=7

2×0+y=7

0+y=7

Y=7

So( 0, 7) is a solution of given equation.

let y=0

2x+y=7

2x+0=7

2x=7

X= 7/2

So(7/2,0) is a solution of given equation.

let x = 1

2x+y=7

2×1+y=7

2+y=7

Y= 7-2

Y=5

(1,5) is the solution.

let x = 2

2x+y=7

2×2+y=7

4+y=7

Y= 7-4

Y= 3

The solution is (2,3)

b) x=4y

x=0. y=0

x=1. y=4

(0,0) and (1,4)
