Find 20th term of an AP 3rd term = 7 and 7th term exceeds 3 times the third term
by 2. Also find the nth term.

Answer: 75

Step-by-step explanation:

equation formed are

a+2d=7

a+6d= 3(a+2d)+2

by solving second equation d gets cancelled

we get : a= -1

then we get d=4

therefeore 20th term =75

nth term = 4n-5
