What are rational numbers ??

--Numbers which can be represented in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0 are called rational numbers.

What types of numbers constitute to form rational numbers??

--All integers constitute to form rational numbers.
Example:0 is a rational number as it can be represented in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is a non-zero integer.

How many rational numbers are present between any 2 rational numbers??

--There is no limit for the number of rational numbers between any 2 rational numbers.
All we need to do is make them into equivalent fractions with same denominators.

So now,we are going to find 2 rational numbers between the rational numbers -1 and 0.

We can multiply them by any number which greater than or equal to 3.

Here I'm going to take 3 to exactly get 2 rational numbers between them.

We can write -1 as:

-1=-1*3/3=-3/3.

We can write 0 as:

0=0*3/3=0/3.

So now -2/3 and -1/3 are 2 rational numbers between -1 and 0.
