FIRST SOLUTION:

2x+3y=12

answer is

first let any number as x

let x=2

so 2+2 + 3y=12

4+3y=12

now take 4 to right hand side

3y=12-4

3y=8

now take 3 to right hand side

y=8/3

y=2 2/3

SECOND SOLUTION:

2x+3y>-3

First we forget the inequality sign

2x+3y=-3

Then we solve for y

3y = -3-2x

3y=-2x-3

y=-\frac{2x}{3}-1

which is of the form y =mx +b

So here slope m is 2/3 and y intercept is -1 .

First we graph .

And then we have to check, which part need to be shaded . And for that , we take a testing point. Let it be (0,0) .

Now we plug this point in the given inequality that is 2(0)+3(0)>-3

0+0>-3

0>-3 which is true. SO we have to shade that part of the graph where point (0,0) belongs .

THIRD SOLUTION:

Substitute the equation in a way to find value of y

i.e y=-8-5x/4

Try putting different value in x,

if x=2 then,

y= -8-5(2)/4

y= -18/4

y= -9/2 or -4.5

and similarly if x=0

then, y=-8/2

y=4
