Find 3 terms of an ap whose sum is 48 and product is 3520

Let's ,the three terms of an AP is a-d, a, a+d.

Then, according to given,

Sum of three terms=48

➡️ a- d+ a+ a+d =48

➡️ 3a = 48

➡️ a=16

Also, according to given,

➡️ ( a-d) ❌a❌(a+d) =3520.

➡️ (16- d) ❌ 16❌ (16+d)

=3520

➡️ (16^2 - d^2) ❌16 =3520

➡️. ( 256 - d^2 ) ❌16 =3520

➡️. 4096 - 16 d^2 =3520

➡️ 16 d^2 =4096- 3520

➡️ 16d^2 = 576

➡️ d^2 =576/16

➡️ d^2 = 36

➡️ d= 6

Hence, the three terms of AP are 16-6 ,16, 16+6

i.e. 10, 16, 22 [answer.]
