To find:

The value of  A) (4/17) - (2/17)

                      B) (13/27) - (22/27)

Calculation:

A) (4/17) - (2/17)

The denominators for both the fractions are the same. So we can directly subtract the numerators

=> (4/17) - (2/17) = (4-2)/17

                         = 2/17

B) (13/27) - (22/27)

The denominators for both the fractions are the same. So we can directly subtract the numerators

=> (13/27) - (22/27) = (13-22)/27

                                = -9/27

                                = -1/3

A) (4/17) - (2/17) = 2/17

B) (13/27) - (22/27) = -1/3
