thus a=12/4=3

a+d. + a+3d =14

6+4d=14. (a=3)
4d=14-6=8
d= 2

thus first four terms are
a-3d=3-6 = -3
a-d= 3-2= 1
a+d = 3+2= 5
a+2d = 9
