-2/5 × 3/3 = -10/15

-1/3 × 5/5 = -5/15

hence, 4 rational numbers are -6/15, -7/15, -8/15 and -9/15..

If the numbers are in positive order then the answer will be same but in positive...

hope it helps❤

question : find four rational number between

 \frac{2}{5} and \frac{1}{3}

solution

first rational number

 \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{1}{3} )

 \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{6}{15}  +  \frac{5}{15} )

 \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{11}{15}

 =  \frac{11}{30}

second rational number

 \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{11}{30} )

\frac{1}{2} \times (\frac{12 + 11} {30} )

\frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{23}{30}

 =  \frac{23}{60}

third rational number

\frac{1}{2} \times ( \frac{1}{3}   +  \frac{11}{30} )

\frac{1}{2} \times( \frac{10 + 11}{30} )

\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{21}{30}

 =  \frac{21}{60}

forth rational number

 \frac{1}{2}  \times ( \frac{1}{3}  +  \frac{23}{60} )

\frac{1}{2} \times(  \frac{20 + 23}{60} )

\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{43}{60}

 =  \frac{43}{120}

therefore the four rational numbers are

 \frac{11}{30}  \:  \:  \frac{23}{60}  \:  \:  \frac{21}{60}  \:  \:  \frac{43}{120}
