Now If we want to find some rational number between x and y where denominator of x and y is 1 and the number of rational number that we have to find is n . So we have to multiply x and y by ( n + 1 ) on both numerator and denominator. And the 4 rational numbers between 1 and 2 , 3 and 4 are as in attachment.
