Find 41 th term of an A.P. which 16 th and 17 th terms are 19 and 41 respectively

a16 =a + 15d
19 = a + 15d

a17 = a+16d
41 = a + 16d

a + 16d = 41
a + 15d = 19

d = 22
a + 15d = 19
a + 15(22) =19
a = 19-330
a = -311

now find 41 term
a + 40d = a41
-311 + 40(22) = a41
-311 + 880 = a41
569 =a41
Hence the 41 term is 569
