Step - by- step - explanation

a= -5/3, b= 5/7, n= 2

We know that :- d= b-a/n+1

Therefore d= 5/7- 5/3÷ 2+1, putting the values

= -20/21×1/3 (After doing the L.C.M.)

= - 20/63

1st= (a+d)

= -5/3+(-20/63)

= -5/3-20/63

= -125/63 (After doing the L.C.M.)

Now, the 2nd one is= (a+2d)= -5/3+2×-20/63

= -5/3-40/63

= -145/63 (After doing the L.C.M.)

Answer:- The two rational numbers between 5/7 and -5/3 are -125/63 & -145/63.
