Topic : My first school trip
It was my first school trip . We were going to Amritsar , the historical city & the capital of Indian state - Punjab . My parents had agreed me to go for such a trip .
Summer vacations had just started . On 1st of June , we were summoned at school from where we would continue our journey . All my friends joined us . It was a scorching day . We departed .
We saw a number of things on our way to Amritsar . The lushful greenery roadside was really enjoying to see in contrast to the pollution at metropolitans . We also visited to the historical city of Sirhind , Punjab . After traveling 6 hours , we were on the border of Amritsar .
The city of Amritsar is named after 'Amrit Sarovar' located there . We booked at the inn .
The next day we started our visit to the city .
We visited the Golden Temple , the Wagah Border & a number of places . The street food in Amritsar was also very delicious to eat .
The city was very beautiful.
The city stood at the confluence of historical and modern India .
After staying there for more than three days . We left the city to reach to our hometown . It was an unforgettable trip . Going to school trip with friends is really wonderful !
