-1/2= -0.5
1/2 = 0.5
therefore five rational numbers between them are
-0.4,-0.3,-0.2,-0.2,0,0.1

ravi5164: sir solve divide by 10 please
AnanyaSrivastava999: what does that means?
ravi5164: -0.4 divide by 10

Hey!
Your answer is here

So,First we will make their denominators equal by taking the LCM...

LCM = 2

 \frac{ - 1}{2} \times \frac{1}{1} = \frac{ - 1}{2}
 \frac{12}{1} \times \frac{2}{2} = \frac{24}{2}
Now, we will multiply both the rational no. with any no. greater than 5.

 \frac{ - 1}{2} \times \frac{10}{10} = \frac{ - 10}{20}
 \frac{24}{2} \times \frac{10}{10} = \frac{240}{20}

So,5 rational nos. are 1/20, 15/20 , 23/20, 150/20 and 223/40...
