Since we want the five rational number between 2 and 3

 • The numbers of denominator 5+1=7

2 = \frac{2 \times 6}{1 \times 6}

= \frac{12}{6}

And

3 = \frac{3 \times 6}{1 \times 6}

= \frac{18}{6}

We know that 12<13<14<15<17<18

And

\frac{12}{6}< \frac{13}{6} < \frac{14}{6} <\frac{15}{6}< \frac{16}{2} <\frac{17}{6} <\frac{18}{6}

Hence five rational number between 2 and 3 are

\frac{13}{6}, \frac{14}{6} ,\frac{15}{6} , \frac{16}{6} , \frac{17}{6}
