first,
multiply -4/1*6/6
and -3/1*6/6
which results in....-24/6.....-18/6
we are multiplying only with 6 because we have to find 5 rationals right?....so add 1 to the given number that is in this sum 5+1=6
if you directly multiply with this method you will get exactly 5 rationals...
so coming back....the 5 rationals are....-23/6....-22/6....-21/6...-20/6...-19/6....
therefore.....you got exactly 5 rationals

Priyanvi: its ok
Priyanvi: u can ask me many questions
jassy78: if sum of two rational numbers is -15/23 . if one number is -7/20, then find other
jassy78: what should be the answer of this question
Priyanvi: its simple.... subtract -7/20 from -15/23....but before this equal the denominators
jassy78: tell me the answer dear
jassy78: r u there
Priyanvi: hm...
Priyanvi: lcm will be...460....-7/20*23/23= -161/460....and...-15/23*20/20= -300/460.....now,subtract them both...-300/460-(-161)/460= -139/460.... therefore....the other number is -139/460
Priyanvi: clear?
