Answer:

we can use trial and error method for this question

2x+3y=9

first put the equation in y in terms of x

that is y= 9-2x/3

let us see what numbers will come in place of x and y

let us replace with 0 for x first

==> y= 9- 2(0)/3

==> y= 9-0/3

==> y=3

so one solution is (0,3) - we put x value first then y , in the form(x,y)

hope this helps you

 \: \huge\bf\underline \red{\underline{Answer}}

we will use Trial and Error Method

2x + 3y = 9

1) \: let \: x = 0

for \: 2x + 3y = 9

 =  > 2 \times 0 + 3y = 9

 =  > y =  \frac{9}{ 3}

 =  > y = 3

2) \: let \: y = 0

for \: 2x + 3y = 9

 =  > 2x \times 0 = 9

 =  > x =  \frac{9}{2}

3) \: let \: x = 1

for \: 2x + 3y = 9

2 + 3y = 9

 =  > 3y = 7

 =  > y =  \frac{7}{3}

4) \: let \: y = 1

for \: 2x + 3y = 9

 =  > 2x + 3 = 9

 =  > 2x = 6

 =  > x =  \frac{6}{2}  = 3

5) \: let \: x =  - 3

for \: 2x + 3y = 9

 =  >  - 6 + 3y = 9

 =  > 3y = 15

 =  > y =  \frac{15}{3}  = 5
