We have to find fifth term, hence n=5
Substituting value of n in given equation we get,
T(n) =3n-5
T(5)=3(5)-5
=15-5
=10

Hence 5th term of given AP is 10

Answer:

5^{th} \: term \: in \: given \: AP = 10

Explanation:

Given n^{th} \: term \: of \: A.P

t_{n}= 3n-5

 5^{th}\: term \: of \: an \: AP

=$ t_{5}$

=$3\times 5 -5$

=$ 15-5$

= $10$

Therefore,

5^{th} \: term \: in \: given \: AP = 10
