Answer:

we know that a=v-u/t

1)a=6-0/4=6/4=3/2

2)a=0-6/6=(-6)/6=-1

SOLUTION :-

FORMULA USED :-

Acceleration (a) = \bold {\frac{Change\:in\:Velocity}{Time\:Taken} }

(a) GIVEN :-

Initial Velocity (u) = 0  m/s

Final Velocity (v) = 6 m/s

Time (t) = 4 Seconds

∴ Acceleration = \frac{6 - 0}{4} = \frac{6}{4} = \frac{3}{2} = \bold {1.5\:m/s}

(b) GIVEN :-

Initial Velocity (u) = 6 m/s

Final Velocity (v) = 0  m/s

Time (t) = 6 Seconds

∴ Retardation = \frac{0 - 6}{6} = \frac{-6}{6} = \bold {-1\:m/s}
