Answer:

find a and b so that the following odd numbers are divisible by both 3 and 5 i) a18b ii) 5abba5

Step-by-step explanation:

1)   a18b

condition of 3:  sum of all the digits is equal to multiples of 3

& condition of 5 : ones place should be either 0 or 5

condition for 3=> a+1+8+b = multiples of 3

                            a+b+9 = multiples of 3

 b = 5 or 0 since the number end with 0 or 5 only divisible by 5

If b=5 then a= either 1 or 4 or 7

   so the answer  : (1185,  4185, 7185)

if b= 0 then a is either 3 or 6 or 9

   so the answer is :  3180,  6180,  9180

2) 5abba5

 since by using the above condition:

5+a+b+b+a+5 = 2a+2b+10

     if a=1, then b=0, 3, 6, 9

    Answer : 510015,  513315,  519915

    If b=1, then a=0,3,6,9

   Answer:  501105,  531135,  591195   etc
