Step-by-step explanation:

x-1 , x-2 are the roots

therefore, x=1,2 are the zeroes

putting x=1

p(1)= 1³-10(1)²+a(1)+b = 0

=> a+b=9. ----(1)

putting x=2

p(2) = 2³-10(2)²+a(2)+b

=> 8-50+2a+b=0

=> 2a+b=42. ---(2)

from 1 and 2, we get

a=33 , b= -24
