Answer:

SOLUTION

GIVEN

Find the values of A, B, C in the following.

9) 4AB (5C

- 45

3B

- 36

0

TO DETERMINE

Then what is the value of A+B+C ?

(a) 10 (b) 14 (c) 16 (d) 18

EVALUATION

In the above we see that

A - 5 = 3

∴ A = 8

Again B = 6

Thus the Dividend = 4AB = 486

If 486 is divided by 9 then quotient is 54

So C = 4

∴ A + B + C

= 8 + 6 + 4

= 18=18

FINAL ANSWER

The correct option is (d) 18
