Given: zeroes of a cubic polynomial 3,21,−1

By factor theorem,

(x−3)(x−21)(x+1) are the factors of the cubic polynomial.

We know that (x+a)(x+b)=x2+(a+b)x+ab

Using the factors (x−3)(x−21) we have as

x2+(−3−21)x+23

=x2−2−7x+23

Again (x+1)(x2−27x+23)=x3−27x2+23x+x2−27x+2
