Find a , if linear equation 3x-ay=6 has one solution as (X=1,y=1)

Since x=1 and y= 1 are the solutions of the equation 3x-ay=6

Therefore,

3 (1)-a×1=6

3-a=6

-a=6-3

-a=3

a=3/-1

a=-3
