Answer:

tan 2A = cot (A-24)

cot (90-2A) = cot (A-24)

90-2A = A-24

90+24 = A+2A

114 = 3A

114/3 = A

38 = A

Given :-

Tan 2A = cot(A - 24°) -------(i)

We know that,

Cot(90 - ∅) = tan∅

Here, ∅ = 2A

so we can write,

➡ Tan2A = cot(90 - 2A) -------(ii)

From equation (i) and (ii), we get

➡ Cot(A - 24°) = Cot(90° - 2A)

➡ A - 24° = 90° - 2A

➡ A + 2A = 90° + 24°

➡ 3A = 114°

➡ A = 114/3

➡ A = 38°

Hence, the value of A = 38°
