tan 2A = tan ( 90 - A + 24)

tan 2A = tan 114 - tan A

tan 3A = tan 114

3A= 114

A = 36

piyush6420singla: Sorry ans is 38. A= 38. i calculated wrong.

We are given that tan=2A=cot(A-24°)

Since tan 2A=cot(90°-2A)...........(1)

cot(90°-2A)=cot(A-24°)

Since 90°-2A and A-24° are both acute angles ,therefore

90°-2A=A- 24°

-2A-A=-24°-90°

-3A=-114°

A=-114°/-3

A= 36°

SanjanaRana: when we wil divide the -114/-3 will get 38
SanjanaRana: my mistake
