UVWX is a rhombus.

Hence, VW || UX and WX is a transversal.

So it is clear that angle W and angle X are interior angles.

According to the theorem that interioir angles are supplementary , we can say

(8a + 30) + (3a + 95) = 180

→ 8a + 3a + 30 + 95 = 180

→ 11a + 125 = 180

→ 11a = 180 - 125

→ a = 55/11

→.a = 5
