find a number such that if you add 9 to the number and divide the sum by 7,the answer is the same as when you substract 2 from the number and divide by 3 ​

let the no.be X

if 9 is added to number it becomes X+9

and if it is divided by seven it becomes X+9/7

again if x us subtracted by 2 it becomes x-2

and if it is divided by 3 it becomes x-2/3

X+9/7 = x-2/3

3x + 27 = 7x - 14

3x - 7x = -14-27

-4x = -41

X = 41/4

X = 10¹/⁴

or X = 10.25
