  • As per the data given in the question, we have to determine the required number.

       Given data- 6\frac{1}{4}\% of x=12.

       Let the required number be x.

       As per the condition. we get,

       \Rightarrow x\times6\frac{1}{4}\%=12.

  • Firstly, we will convert mixed fractions into an improper fraction.
  • Mixed into improper:- We will multiply the whole number with the denominator of the proper fraction. Add the numerator of the proper fraction to this product to obtain the numerator of the improper fraction.

        We get,

         \Rightarrow 6\frac{1}{4}=\frac{25}{4}

        Then, we will solve the equation,

         \Rightarrow x\times\frac{25}{4}=12\\\Rightarrow x\times\frac{6.25}{100} =12\\\Rightarrow x=\frac{12\times100}{6.25} \\\Rightarrow x=\frac{12\times100\times100}{6.25\times100}\\\Rightarrow x=\frac{12\times\times100}{625}\\\Rightarrow x=192.

        Hence, the value will be 192.

Given,

6\frac{1}{4}% is 12

Suppose number be x

x\times \frac{25}{4\times 100} =12\\x\times \frac{25}{400} =12\\25x=12\times 400\\x=12\times 16\\x=192

Therefore, the number is 192.
