Hey there!!

Let us take the number as ' m '

The fifth part of m = ( m ÷ 5 )

The fourth part of m = ( m ÷ 4 )

If we take the question into equation :

( m ÷ 5 ) + 30 = ( m ÷ 4 ) - 30

60 = ( m ÷ 4 ) - ( m ÷ 5 )

LCM = 20

60 = ( 5m - 4m ) ÷ 20

60 = ( m ÷ 20 )

1200 = m

Number = 1200

Answer :

The number is 1200

Step-by-step explanation :

Given :

A bnumber whose fifth part increased by 30 is equal to its fourth part decreased by 30.

5th part and 4th part will be increased  and decreased by 30.

To Find :

The Number.

Solution :

Consider the -

The number as - "y"

It's fifth part as - \sf \dfrac{y}{5}

It's fourth part as -  \sf \dfrac{y}{4}

Now, It implies,

\color{red}{\bigstar\;\boxed{\sf \dfrac{y}{5}+30=\dfrac{y}{4}-30}}

\color{red}{\bigstar\;\boxed{\sf\dfrac{y}{5}-\dfrac{y}{4}= -30-30}}

Now, Values in Equation.

\sf \dfrac{y}{5} + 30 = \sf \dfrac{y}{4} - 30

⇒  \sf \dfrac{y}{5} - \sf \dfrac{y}{4} = - 30 - 30

\sf \dfrac{4y-5y}{20} = - 60

⇒ - y = - 60 × 20

⇒ - y = - 1200

⇒ y = 1200

The value of y - 1200.

Hence, The required number - 1200.
