Let the number be x.

ATQ,
 \frac{x}{5} + 30 =  \frac{x}{4} - 30
 \frac{x + 150}{5} =  \frac{x - 120}{4}

Cross Multiply:-
4x + 600 = 5x - 600
600 + 600 = 5x - 4x
x = 1200.

So, the number whose fifth part increased by 30 is equal to the fourth part decreased by 30 is 1200.

Answer:-

=\frac{x}{5}

= \frac{x}{4}

=\frac{x + 150}{5}

= \frac{x - 120}{4}

By Cross Multiply:-

4x + 600 = 5x - 600

600 + 600 = 5x - 4x

x = 1200

Therefore, 1200 number whose fifth part increased by 30 is equal to forth part decrease by 30
