Let the number be x

so two fifth part = 2x/3

three fifth part = 3x/5

by the condition given in your question we get equation

2x/3 - 3x /5 = 10

10x - 9x /15 = 10

x /15 = 10

x = 10 × 15

x = 150

so the required number is 50

Hey!

Let the number be x.

As per the question,

2/3 of x is 10 greater than 3/5 of x.

2/3*x - 3/5*x = 10.

2x/3 - 3x/5 = 10.

(10x-9x)/15=10.

x= 10*15= 150.

So the number is 150.

Hope it helps.
