GIVEN :

The zeroes are \frac{-1}{4},\frac{1}{4}

TO FIND :

A quadratic equation with the given zeroes.

SOLUTION :

Given zeroes are \frac{-1}{4} and \frac{1}{4}

For a quadratic equation with the given two zeroes then the formula is given by :

x^2-(sum of the zeroes)x+product of the zeroes=0

Sum of the zeroes=\frac{-1}{4}+\frac{1}{4}

=0

∴ Sum of the zeroes=0

Product of the zeroes=\frac{-1}{4}\times \frac{1}{4}

=-\frac{1}{16}

Product of the zeroes=-\frac{1}{16}

Substitute the values in the formula to get quadratic equation we have that,

x^2-0x+(-\frac{1}{16})=0

x^2-\frac{1}{16}=0

∴ the required quadratic equation is x^2-\frac{1}{16}=0
