Answer:

( i )

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - b \div a = 2 \div 3

let , a = 1

-b = -2/3

so , b = -2/3

 \alpha  \beta  = c  \div a =  - 4

as , a = 1

so , c = -4

polynomial : ax^2 + bx + c

substituting the values we get ,

x^2 - 2/3 x - 4

multiplying all by 3

3x^2 - 2x - 12 = 0

so this is our required polynomial.
