GiveN :

  • Sum of zeroes = -3
  • Product of zeroes 2

To FinD :

  • Quadratic polynomial

SolutioN :

Let the zeroes of polynomial be : α and β.

So, we know that :

  • Sum of zeroes (α + β) = - 3
  • Product of zeroes (αβ) = 2

Use formula for Quadratic equation :

⇒k[x² - (sum of zeroes)x + Product of zeroes]

⇒k[x² - (-3)x + 2]

⇒k[x² + 3x + 2]

So, quadratic equation is + 3x + 2
