x²-(sum of zeroes) x + (product of zeroes)
= x²-(1/4)x + (-1/8)
= x²-1/4 x -1/8
= 8x²-2x-1/8
= 8x²-2x-1

And,
Product of zeroes = -1/8
Required,
Quadratic polynomial = X² - (Sum of zeroes)X + Product of zeroes
=> X² - (1/4)X + (-1/8)
=> X² - X/4 - 1/8
=> 8X² - 2X -1
