We know that,

A quadratic equation is of the form;

  • k(x² - (sum of zeroes)x + product of zeroes), here k is a constant let us ignore it for a while and find the quadratic equation in its simplest form.

From question,

  • Zeroes of quadratic equation are -5 & -7

Put these values in quadratic equation;

= x² - (sum of zeroes)x + product of zeroes)

= x² - (-5 + (-7))x + (-5 × -7)

= x² - (-5 - 7)x + (-35)

= x² - (-12)x - 35

= x² + 12x - 35

Therefore, a quadratic equation with zeroes -5 & -7 is x² + 12x - 35.
