The general form of quadratic polynomial is
x²-(alpha+beta)x+alpha× beta.
here alpha if 3 and beta is -2.
x²-(3+(-2))x+3×-(2)
x²-(1x)-6
x²-x-6 is required polynomial.

sum=3+(-2)= 1
product=3×(-2)=-6
now ,we know that the equation will be
x^2-(sum)x+(product)
=>x^2-x-6

i hope u got it now
