Find a quadratic polynomial whose zeroes are 5+√2&5-√2

Answer:

alpha = 5+√2

beta = 5-√2

so required polynomial = (x²-(sum of zeroes )x+(product of zeroes)

alpha + beta = 5+√2 +5-√2

=10

alpha × beta = 5+√2  × 5-√2

25-5√2+5√2- 2

=23    

so (x²-10x+23) is the required polynomial
