Here, a+b = 3 and a-b=-1

On Solving this a=1 and b= 2

we have quadratic equation formula

k[-(alpa +beta)x+ (alpa × beta)]

k[ x²- (1+2)x+ (1×2)]

k[x²-3x+2]

Where k is constant and required quadratic equation - (x²-3x+2)
